Dell 3007WFP-HC is massive and a lot of fun to use, but it's limited connectivity means it is not a versatile display.

Maximum Resolution

You probably already know that the screen can only take a dual-link DVI-D input to drive it at full resolution, 2560x1600. That's not half the truth though...

If you hook up a single-link DVI-D, then the maxium resolution, as opposed to being 1920x1200 (the maximum of single-link DVI-D), is in fact 1280x800 on the 3007WFP-HC.

Yeah it sucks....

Playstation 3 and other HDMI sources

Well you could get a connector to convert HDMI to DVI-D, although I'm not sure if this setup actually works on the 3007WFP-HC for even the 1280x800 resolution. Could use some info on that...
